Ingredients

  • 2 ribeye steaks
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon rosemary, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon thyme, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup red wine
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 pound asparagus
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Rub the steaks with olive oil, garlic, rosemary, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  3. Cook the steaks for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare.
  4. Remove the steaks and let them rest.
  5. In the same pan, add red wine and bring to a simmer.
  6. Add butter and stir until melted.
  7. In another pan, sauté asparagus with lemon juice until tender.
  8. Serve the steaks with red wine sauce and asparagus on the side.

  • Let the steaks rest for a few minutes before cutting.
