Ingredients

- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup light corn syrup
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Combine sugar, corn syrup, and water in a saucepan.
- Cook over medium heat until the mixture reaches 300°F (hard crack stage).
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and nuts.
- Pour the mixture onto a greased baking sheet.
- Let it cool completely before breaking into pieces.
- Melt chocolate chips and dip the candy pieces.
- Allow the chocolate to set before serving.

- Use a candy thermometer for accurate temperature.
- Store in an airtight container.
