Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup fresh strawberries, pureed
  • 1/4 cup chocolate shavings for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan.
  4. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  5. Add vanilla extract and mix well.
  6. Incorporate eggs one at a time, mixing after each addition.
  7. Add sour cream and mix until combined.
  8. Pour half of the batter over the crust.
  9. Swirl in the pureed strawberries.
  10. Pour the remaining batter on top.
  11. Bake for 60 minutes or until set.
  12. Let cool, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  13. Garnish with chocolate shavings before serving.

Notes

  • Use fresh strawberries for the best flavor.
  • Let the cheesecake cool completely before refrigerating.
  • Serve with whipped cream if desired.
