Description

Delicious cake pops perfect for Valentine’s Day.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box of cake mix
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup frosting
  • 12 oz chocolate melts
  • Sprinkles for decoration

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the cake mix according to the instructions on the box.
  3. Bake the cake in a 9×13 inch pan for 30-35 minutes.
  4. Let the cake cool completely.
  5. Crumble the cooled cake into a large bowl.
  6. Add frosting to the crumbled cake and mix well.
  7. Shape the mixture into balls and place them on a baking sheet.
  8. Chill the cake balls in the freezer for 30 minutes.
  9. Melt the chocolate melts in a microwave-safe bowl.
  10. Dip the end of a lollipop stick into the melted chocolate, then insert it into a cake ball.
  11. Dip the cake pop into the melted chocolate until fully coated.
  12. Sprinkle with decorations while the chocolate is still wet.
  13. Let the cake pops dry in a styrofoam block or stand.
