Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

  4. In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
  6. Roll out dough on a floured surface and cut into heart shapes.
  7. Place cookies on a baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes.
  8. Let cool before decorating with royal icing.
