A delicious side dish for your Thanksgiving dinner featuring sweet yams.

- 4 medium yams, peeled and cubed
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup mini marshmallows
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Boil yams in water until tender, about 15 minutes.
- Drain yams and place them in a baking dish.
- Melt butter and mix with brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- Pour the mixture over the yams and toss gently.
- Top with mini marshmallows and pecans.
- Bake for 25 minutes or until marshmallows are golden brown.
Notes
- Can substitute yams with sweet potatoes.
- Adjust sugar based on your taste preference.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
