Description

A festive dessert combining layers of cake, cream, and fruit for Thanksgiving.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound cake, cut into cubes
  • 2 cups whipped cream
  • 2 cups mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
  • 1 cup vanilla pudding
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Layer half of the pound cake cubes at the bottom of a large trifle dish.
  2. Add half of the vanilla pudding over the cake.
  3. Spread half of the whipped cream on top.
  4. Add half of the mixed berries.
  5. Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
  6. Top with chopped nuts if desired.
  7. Chill for at least 2 hours before serving.
