A delicious and flavorful Thanksgiving tofu dish.
Ingredients

- 1 block of firm tofu, pressed and drained
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 1 cup vegetable broth
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon water
- Fresh herbs for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Cut the tofu into cubes.
- In a bowl, mix olive oil, soy sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and maple syrup.
- Toss the tofu cubes in the marinade and let sit for 15 minutes.
- Place marinated tofu on a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes, turning halfway through.
- In a saucepan, heat vegetable broth and bring to a simmer.
- Mix cornstarch with water and add to the broth, stirring until thickened.
- Serve baked tofu drizzled with the sauce and garnish with fresh herbs.
Notes
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
- Serve with your favorite sides.
- This dish can be made a day ahead and reheated.
