A delightful Thanksgiving sweet potato dish that is both sweet and savory.
Ingredients

- 4 medium sweet potatoes
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 cup mini marshmallows
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Peel and chop the sweet potatoes into cubes.
- Boil sweet potatoes in water until tender, about 15-20 minutes.
- Drain and mash the sweet potatoes in a bowl.
- Add brown sugar, butter, milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and nutmeg to the mashed sweet potatoes. Mix well.
- Transfer the mixture into a baking dish.
- Top with mini marshmallows.
- Bake for 25 minutes or until marshmallows are golden.
Notes
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less brown sugar.
- Try adding chopped pecans for extra crunch.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
