Ingredients

  • 4 medium sweet potatoes
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup mini marshmallows

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Peel and chop the sweet potatoes into cubes.
  3. Boil sweet potatoes in water until tender, about 15-20 minutes.
  4. Drain and mash the sweet potatoes in a bowl.
  5. Add brown sugar, butter, milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and nutmeg to the mashed sweet potatoes. Mix well.
  6. Transfer the mixture into a baking dish.
  7. Top with mini marshmallows.
  8. Bake for 25 minutes or until marshmallows are golden.

Notes

  • Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less brown sugar.
