- 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained
- 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained
- 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add chopped onion and minced garlic; sauté until soft.
- Stir in ground beef; cook until browned.
- Add chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper; mix well.
- Pour in crushed tomatoes and beef broth; stir to combine.
- Add kidney beans and black beans; bring to a simmer.
- Reduce heat and let it cook for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Serve hot with toppings of your choice.
