Description

Snickerdoodle cupcakes made from a box cake mix.


Ingredients

  • 1 box vanilla cake mix
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix the cake mix, eggs, water, and oil until smooth.
  3. Add cinnamon and mix well.
  4. Fill cupcake liners 2/3 full with batter.
  5. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Let cupcakes cool.
  7. In a bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon for topping.
  8. Frost cooled cupcakes with butter and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
