  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candies

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
  3. Stir in the sugar and mix until well combined.
  4. Add the eggs, one at a time, stirring well after each addition.
  5. Mix in the vanilla and peppermint extracts.
  6. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
  7. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
  8. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  9. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  10. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  11. Allow to cool before topping with ganache and crushed peppermint candies.
