Ingredients

- 2 cups of rice
- 1 pound of shrimp
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Rinse the rice and cook according to package instructions.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add onion and garlic, sauté until soft.
- Add bell pepper and cook for another 2 minutes.
- Add shrimp and cook until pink.
- Stir in the cooked rice and soy sauce.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve hot and enjoy your New Year’s meal.

- Use fresh or frozen shrimp based on availability.
- For a vegetarian version, replace shrimp with tofu.
