Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Red food coloring
  • Buttercream frosting
  • Black fondant for eyes

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, and baking powder.
  3. Add butter and milk, mix until smooth.
  4. Add eggs and vanilla, blend well.
  5. Divide batter into two bowls. Color one red with food coloring.
  6. Pour batters into lobster-shaped cake mold.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let the cake cool completely.
  9. Frost with buttercream and decorate with fondant eyes.
