Delicious homemade thumbprint cookies filled with jam.

- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup fruit jam (your choice)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar.
- Add vanilla extract and mix well.
- Gradually add flour and salt until combined.
- Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place on a baking sheet.
- Use your thumb to make an indentation in the center of each ball.
- Fill each indentation with jam.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until lightly golden.
- Allow to cool before serving.
Notes
- Use any fruit jam you prefer.
- Store cookies in an airtight container.
- Cookies can be frozen for later use.
