Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Red and pink food coloring
  • 2 cups powdered sugar (for glaze)
  • 1/4 cup milk (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients until smooth.
  5. Divide batter into two bowls. Add red food coloring to one and pink to the other.
  6. Fill heart-shaped donut pans with the batter.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden.
  8. Let cool completely.
  9. Mix powdered sugar and milk to create the glaze.
  10. Dip donuts in glaze and allow to set.
