Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×9 inch baking pan.
  3. In a bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking powder, and salt.
  4. In another bowl, combine melted butter and brown sugar.
  5. Add eggs and vanilla to the butter mixture and stir until smooth.
  6. Gradually fold in the dry ingredients.
  7. Add chocolate chips and mix well.
  8. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Let cool before cutting into squares.
