  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk (for glaze)
  • Red food coloring (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and nutmeg.
  3. In another bowl, whisk milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
  5. Fill a doughnut pan with batter.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden.
  7. Let cool for 5 minutes, then remove from the pan.
  8. In a bowl, mix powdered sugar and 2 tablespoons of milk for glaze.
  9. Add red food coloring if desired.
  10. Dip doughnuts in glaze and let set.
