Description

Delicious Christmas lollipops perfect for holiday gifting.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon flavor extract (peppermint or vanilla)
  • food coloring (red, green)
  • lollipop sticks

Instructions

  1. Combine sugar, corn syrup, and water in a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Stir until the sugar dissolves.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil without stirring.
  4. Use a candy thermometer to heat the mixture to 300°F (hard crack stage).
  5. Remove from heat and quickly add flavor extract and food coloring.
  6. Pour the mixture into lollipop molds and insert sticks.
  7. Let them cool completely before removing from molds.
  8. Wrap in cellophane for gifting.

Notes

  • Be careful with hot sugar syrup.
  • You can customize colors and flavors.
  • Store in a cool, dry place.
