A festive lasagna perfect for Christmas gatherings.
Ingredients

- 12 lasagna noodles
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 3 cups marinara sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, basil, salt, and pepper.
- Spread a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
- Layer 4 noodles over the sauce.
- Spread half of the ricotta mixture over the noodles.
- Add a layer of mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Repeat layers, ending with noodles and sauce on top.
- Sprinkle remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until bubbly.
- Let it cool for 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Can be made a day ahead and refrigerated.
- Freezes well for up to 2 months.
- Adjust seasoning to your preference.
