Ingredients

- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Grease a 9×9 inch baking pan.
- In a saucepan, combine sugar, cocoa powder, butter, and heavy cream.
- Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
- Once boiling, continue to cook for 5 minutes without stirring.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and nuts.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Let it cool at room temperature for 2 hours before cutting into squares.
Notes
- Store fudge in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
- For a different flavor, add peppermint extract instead of vanilla.
