Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix dried fruits and nuts.
  3. In another bowl, combine applesauce, sugar, oil, eggs, and vanilla.
  4. Add flour, baking powder, and spices to the wet mixture.
  5. Fold in the fruit and nut mixture.
  6. Pour the batter into a greased cake pan.
  7. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let it cool before serving.
