Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease and flour a cake pan.
  3. In a bowl, cream together butter and sugar.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.
  5. Sift together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  6. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk.
  7. Fold in dried fruits and walnuts.
  8. Pour batter into the prepared pan.
  9. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Let cool before serving.
