Description

Traditional Chinese New Year dumplings filled with pork and vegetables.


Ingredients

  • 500g ground pork
  • 200g cabbage, finely chopped
  • 100g green onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 package dumpling wrappers
  • Water, for sealing

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix ground pork, cabbage, green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, and sesame oil.
  2. Place a small amount of filling in the center of a dumpling wrapper.
  3. Wet the edges of the wrapper with water.
  4. Fold the wrapper in half and pinch the edges to seal.
  5. Repeat until all filling is used.
  6. Boil water in a large pot.
  7. Add dumplings and cook until they float.
  8. Serve with soy sauce or vinegar.

Notes

  • Ensure the dumplings are sealed well to avoid leakage.
  • You can freeze uncooked dumplings for later use.
