  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon (for rolling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, salt, and spices.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mixing until combined.
  6. In a small bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon for rolling.
  7. Form dough into balls and roll in sugar mixture.
  8. Place on baking sheets lined with parchment paper.
  9. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden.
  10. Let cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.
