Instructions

  3. Stop stirring and let it boil until it reaches 300°F (hard crack stage).
  4. Remove from heat and quickly stir in vanilla and food coloring.
  5. Pour the mixture onto a greased baking sheet.
  6. Let it cool slightly, then cut into pieces.
  7. Dust with powdered sugar to prevent sticking.
