Ingredients

  • 1 box cake mix
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup frosting
  • 1 lb chocolate candy melts
  • 24 lollipop sticks
  • Sprinkles for decoration

Instructions

  1. Prepare cake mix according to package instructions.
  2. Bake in a 9×13 inch pan and let cool.
  3. Crumble the cooled cake into a large bowl.
  4. Add frosting and mix until well combined.
  5. Form mixture into small balls and place on a baking sheet.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  7. Melt chocolate candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl.
  8. Dip the end of each lollipop stick into melted chocolate, then insert into cake balls.
  9. Dip each cake pop into the chocolate and let excess drip off.
  10. Decorate with sprinkles before the chocolate hardens.
  11. Let the cake pops sit until chocolate sets.
