A delicious walking taco casserole that combines all your favorite taco ingredients in one dish.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 can black beans, drained
  • 1 cup corn
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 2 cups crushed tortilla chips
  • 2 cups shredded cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
  3. Add taco seasoning, black beans, corn, and salsa. Stir well.
  4. In a baking dish, layer half of the crushed tortilla chips.
  5. Pour the beef mixture over the chips.
  6. Add half of the shredded cheese on top.
  7. Layer the remaining tortilla chips and top with the rest of the cheese.
  8. Bake for 20 minutes until cheese is melted.
  9. Top with sour cream and green onions before serving.

Notes

  • You can substitute ground turkey for a leaner option.
