A delicious green bean casserole featuring potatoes for added texture.
Ingredients

- 2 cups fresh green beans, trimmed
- 2 cups diced potatoes
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup crispy fried onions
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Boil diced potatoes in salted water until tender, about 10 minutes.
- Add green beans to the pot and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Drain and transfer vegetables to a mixing bowl.
- Add cream of mushroom soup, milk, and half of the cheese. Mix well.
- Pour mixture into a baking dish.
- Top with remaining cheese and fried onions.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.

- Use fresh or frozen green beans.
- Adjust cheese quantity based on preference.
- For a crispier topping, add more fried onions.
