Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained
  • 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained
  • 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, brown the ground beef with the chopped onion and minced garlic.
  2. Drain excess fat and transfer the mixture to the crockpot.
  3. Add the beans, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, chili powder, cumin, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper to the crockpot.
  4. Stir everything together until well combined.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  6. Serve hot and enjoy.
