Ingredients

- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes
- 1 can (15 ounces) kidney beans, drained
- 1 can (15 ounces) black beans, drained
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add chopped onion and garlic. Sauté until softened.
- Add ground beef. Cook until browned.
- Stir in diced tomatoes, kidney beans, black beans, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
- Simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Serve hot, garnished with toppings if desired.
