This is the easiest southern peach cobbler recipe you will ever make.

- 4 cups fresh peaches, sliced
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup self-rising flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix peaches with half a cup of sugar.
- In another bowl, combine flour, remaining sugar, and milk.
- Pour the melted butter into a baking dish.
- Pour the batter over the butter, do not stir.
- Spread the peaches over the batter.
- Bake for 30-40 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
- Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
- Use canned peaches if fresh ones are not available.
- Adjust sugar based on the sweetness of peaches.
