Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 6 to 8 tablespoons ice water
- 2 cups pumpkin puree
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon cloves
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Mix flour, butter, sugar, and salt in a bowl.
- Add ice water until dough forms.
- Roll out the dough and place it in a pie dish.
- In another bowl, mix pumpkin puree, cream, brown sugar, eggs, and spices.
- Pour the mixture into the pie crust.
- Bake for 15 minutes, then reduce temperature to 350°F (175°C).
- Bake for an additional 40 minutes.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- Serve with whipped cream.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
- Great for potlucks.
