- 1 pie crust
- 2 cups pumpkin puree
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Roll out the pie crust and fit it into a 9-inch pie pan.
- In a bowl, mix the pumpkin puree, heavy cream, sugars, and spices.
- Add the eggs and mix until smooth.
- Pour the filling into the prepared crust.
- Bake for 15 minutes, then reduce the temperature to 350°F (175°C) and bake for another 45 minutes.
- Let the pie cool completely before serving.
Notes
- Serve with whipped cream.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
- Use fresh pumpkin for a richer flavor.
