Ingredients

  • 150g egg whites
  • 100g granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp pumpkin spice
  • 200g butter (for filling)
  • 250g cream cheese (for filling)
  • 100g maple syrup (for filling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix almond flour and powdered sugar.
  3. In another bowl, whip egg whites until foamy.
  4. Gradually add granulated sugar while continuing to whip until stiff peaks form.
  5. Add vanilla extract and pumpkin spice to the egg mixture.
  6. Gently fold in the almond flour mixture.
  7. Pipe small circles onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Let the macarons rest for 30 minutes.
  9. Bake for 15-20 minutes.
  10. Let them cool completely before filling.
  11. Mix butter, cream cheese, and maple syrup for the filling.
  12. Sandwich the macarons with the filling.
