Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix pumpkin puree, sugar, and butter until smooth.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla extract, and mix well.
  4. In another bowl, combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Let it cool before serving.

Notes

  • Can add chocolate chips for extra sweetness.
  • Serve with whipped cream for a festive touch.
