Ingredients

- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 cup pumpkin puree
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together heavy cream, milk, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and pumpkin puree.
- Mix until sugar is dissolved and ingredients are combined.
- Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker.
- Churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- During the last few minutes of churning, add chopped pecans.
- Transfer the ice cream to a container and freeze for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
- Use fresh pumpkin puree for best flavor.
- Store ice cream in an airtight container.
- Let ice cream sit at room temperature for a few minutes before scooping.
