Ingredients

- 4 cups of green beans, trimmed
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil

- 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1 cup of sliced almonds
- 2 cups of mashed potatoes
- 1/2 cup of milk
- 1/4 cup of butter
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Toss the green beans with olive oil, salt, and black pepper.
- Spread the green beans on a baking sheet and roast for 15-20 minutes.
- In a pot, combine mashed potatoes, milk, butter, and garlic powder.
- Heat the mashed potatoes over medium heat until warm and creamy.
- Serve the green beans topped with sliced almonds and mashed potatoes on the side.
Notes
- You can add cheese to the mashed potatoes for extra flavor.
- Feel free to substitute green beans with broccoli or Brussels sprouts.
