Ingredients

  • 2 cups of mashed potatoes
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 1/4 cup of butter
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Toss the green beans with olive oil, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Spread the green beans on a baking sheet and roast for 15-20 minutes.
  4. In a pot, combine mashed potatoes, milk, butter, and garlic powder.
  5. Heat the mashed potatoes over medium heat until warm and creamy.
  6. Serve the green beans topped with sliced almonds and mashed potatoes on the side.

Notes

  • You can add cheese to the mashed potatoes for extra flavor.
  • Feel free to substitute green beans with broccoli or Brussels sprouts.
