A traditional Thanksgiving dinner featuring turkey, stuffing, and sides.
Ingredients

- 1 whole turkey (12–14 pounds)
- 2 cups stuffing mix
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 celery stalks, chopped
- 1 teaspoon sage
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 cups mashed potatoes
- 2 cups green beans
- 1 cup cranberry sauce
- 1 pumpkin pie
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).
- Prepare the stuffing by mixing stuffing mix, chicken broth, melted butter, onion, celery, sage, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Stuff the turkey with the prepared stuffing.
- Place the turkey in a roasting pan and cover with foil.
- Roast the turkey for 3 to 4 hours, removing foil for the last 30 minutes.
- Meanwhile, prepare mashed potatoes and green beans.
- Serve turkey with stuffing, mashed potatoes, green beans, and cranberry sauce.
- Finish the meal with pumpkin pie for dessert.
Notes
- Let the turkey rest for 20 minutes before carving.
- Adjust seasonings to your preference.
- You can prepare the stuffing a day in advance.
