A traditional Thanksgiving dinner featuring turkey and seasonal sides.
Ingredients

- 1 whole turkey (12–14 lbs)
- 2 cups stuffing mix
- 1 cup butter
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 celery stalks, chopped
- 1 tablespoon sage
- 1 tablespoon thyme
- 4 cups mashed potatoes
- 2 cups cranberry sauce
- 1 cup green beans
- 1 cup corn
- 1 pumpkin pie
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Prepare the turkey by removing giblets and patting dry.
- Mix stuffing ingredients and fill the turkey cavity.
- Place turkey in a roasting pan and cover with butter.
- Roast turkey for 3-4 hours, basting occasionally.
- Prepare mashed potatoes and heat green beans and corn.
- Make cranberry sauce and bake pumpkin pie.
- Let turkey rest before carving.
- Serve with sides and enjoy your meal.
Notes
- Allow turkey to rest for 30 minutes before serving.
- Use a meat thermometer to check turkey doneness (165°F).
- Leftovers can be stored for up to 4 days in the fridge.
