Ingredients

- 1 cup of pumpkin puree
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon of ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon of cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1 cup of evaporated milk
- 3 large eggs
- 1 pre-made pie crust
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a large bowl, mix pumpkin puree, sugar, and spices.
- Add salt and stir in evaporated milk.
- Beat in eggs one at a time until well combined.
- Pour the mixture into the pie crust.
- Bake for 15 minutes, then reduce temperature to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 40-50 minutes.
- Check doneness by inserting a knife in the center. It should come out clean.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- Serve with whipped cream if desired.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
- Pie can be made a day in advance.
