Ingredients

  • 1 whole turkey breast (57 lbs)
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1 cup chopped carrots

Instructions

  1. Rub the turkey breast with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, and rosemary.
  2. Place the chopped vegetables in the bottom of the crockpot.
  3. Add the chicken broth to the crockpot.
  4. Place the turkey breast on top of the vegetables.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the turkey reaches 165°F.
  6. Remove the turkey, let it rest, then slice and serve.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add fresh herbs.
  • You can use turkey stock instead of chicken broth.
  • Leftovers can be used for sandwiches or soups.
