Description
A delicious side dish of glazed carrots perfect for Thanksgiving.
Ingredients

- 1 pound of carrots, peeled and sliced
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 2 tablespoons of brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1 tablespoon of fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- In a pot, boil water and add the sliced carrots.
- Cook until tender, about 5-7 minutes.
- Drain the carrots and set aside.
- In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add brown sugar, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
- Add the cooked carrots to the skillet. Stir to coat.
- Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until glazed.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of cinnamon.
- Can substitute honey for brown sugar.
- Adjust sweetness to your preference.
