Ingredients

- 2 pounds of carrots, peeled and cut into sticks
- 1/4 cup of brown sugar
- 1/4 cup of butter
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1/4 cup of honey
Instructions
- Place the carrots in the crockpot.
- Add brown sugar, butter, cinnamon, salt, pepper, and honey.
- Toss to coat the carrots evenly.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or until tender.
- Stir occasionally to ensure even cooking.
Notes
- Adjust sweetness by adding more or less honey.
- For a richer flavor, add a pinch of nutmeg.
- This dish pairs well with turkey and stuffing.
