Ingredients

  • 1 packet yeast (2 1/4 tsp)
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 2 large eggs

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix warm milk and sugar. Add yeast and let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. In a large bowl, combine flour and salt.
  3. Add melted butter and eggs to yeast mixture.
  4. Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients. Mix until combined.
  5. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 8-10 minutes.
  6. Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover. Let it rise for 1 hour.
  7. Punch down the dough and divide it into 12 pieces.
  8. Shape each piece into a bun and place on a baking sheet.
  9. Let the buns rise for another 30 minutes.
  10. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
