Ingredients

- 1 cup of oats
- 2 cups of milk
- 1 cup of pumpkin puree
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1/2 cup of maple syrup
- 1/2 cup of chopped nuts
- 1/2 cup of dried cranberries
- 4 slices of whole grain bread
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 1 cup of whipped cream
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine oats and milk. Cook over medium heat until thickened.
- Stir in pumpkin puree, cinnamon, and maple syrup. Mix well.
- Remove from heat and add chopped nuts and cranberries.
- For French toast, beat eggs and dip bread slices into the mixture.
- Cook bread in a skillet with butter until golden brown on both sides.
- Serve oatmeal in bowls topped with whipped cream.
- Serve French toast with maple syrup and berries.
Notes
- Adjust sweetness by adding more or less maple syrup.
- Use almond milk for a dairy-free option.
- Top oatmeal with fresh fruit if desired.
