Description
A warm and comforting thanksgiving bread pudding.
Ingredients

- 6 cups of cubed bread
- 4 large eggs
- 2 cups of milk
- 1 cup of heavy cream
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg
- 1 cup of raisins
- 1/2 cup of chopped pecans
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, cream, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- Add the cubed bread, raisins, and pecans to the mixture. Stir to combine.
- Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.
- You can substitute the raisins with chocolate chips or other dried fruits.
