A festive cake perfect for Thanksgiving birthdays.
Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 ½ cups sugar
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- ½ tsp nutmeg
- ½ cup chopped walnuts
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
- Alternately add flour mixture and milk to the butter mixture.
- Fold in walnuts.
- Pour batter into a greased cake pan.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- Decorate with whipped cream and cranberries.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
