Instructions
- In a bowl, mix cornmeal, flour, baking powder, salt, and pepper.
- In another bowl, whisk milk and egg together.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients, then fold in sweet corn.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F.
- Spoon batter into hot oil, frying until golden brown.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
