A hearty tater tot breakfast casserole perfect for brunch.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground sausage
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
  4. Layer half of the tater tots in a greased baking dish.
  5. Add the cooked sausage and half of the cheese on top of the tater tots.
  6. Pour the egg mixture over the top.
  7. Add the remaining tater tots and cheese.
  8. Bake for 45 minutes or until the eggs are set.
